Reset Forgotten Password

To reset your password, on the Property Tree login page: 

  • Enter your email address > Click Next
  • Click Need help signing in? > Forgot Password?

  • Enter your email address > Click Reset via Email

OR

  • Click Reset via SMS, or Reset via Voice Call if you have a mobile number already configured in your Single Sign On account

You will then receive communication via your preferred reset method:

  • Reset via SMS - Your nominated mobile number will receive a verification code via text message. Enter this code in your SSO account and click 'Verify' to reset your password
  • Reset via Voice Call - Your nominated mobile number will receive a phone call that dictates a verification code. Enter this code in your SSO account and click 'Verify' to reset your password
  • Reset via Email - You will receive an email with a verification link to reset your password

Note: For certain users who use multiple MRI Products, you may then be challenged with a security secret question password.


Unlock Account

When you fail to log in after more than five incorrect password attempts, your Property Tree account will be locked for 30 minutes. To log in to your account sooner, you can use multifactor authentication (MFA) to unlock your account.

  • On the login page, click Need help signing in
  • Click Unlock account?
  • Enter your email > Click to select your MFA option

Verify via SMS & Voice Call

When selecting to verify your account via SMS or Voice Call, you will receive a verification code.

  • Enter the verification code into your web browser
  • Click Verify
Verify via Email

When selecting to verify your account via Email, you will receive an email to the address associated with your Property Tree account, with unlock instructions. 

  • In the email, click the Unlock Account button

Your account will then be unlocked. You can now log in using your existing password and email address. 

  • Click Back to sign in to be redirected back to the login page

If you are still unable to remember your password, reset your password before proceeding with further incorrect password attempts.


Change Password

Each user can update their own password from within Property Tree. To update your password: 

  • Click your initials in the top right corner of Property Tree > User Security & Recovery

This will redirect you to your Single Sign On (SSO) account.

  • In the Change Password section, enter your current password then new password in both the 'New password' and 'Confirm new password' fields
  • Tick the 'Sign me out of all other devices' checkbox
  • Click Change Password
