Summary: Dashboards are available in Property Tree, with more features and content to be added progressively in a series of stages.

You will have access to the Rent Calculator, Alert Bell, Portal Communication, Global Search and Need Help? functions.

This article will cover the Agency dashboard.

Note: For the Agency Dashboard data to populate, the Property Tree company must have at least one Business Role ticked to be 'Relevant to Portfolios in' Property Management.


If you are anywhere in Property Tree the dashboard  icon will take you to the original Dashboard.

To move to the Agency board, click on the Agency icon.

The order of these icons can be moved by clicking and holding on the icon and dragging it left or right.

However you chose to organise the icons, Property Tree will remember your choice for next time.

Click the View Filters icon to customise the data on the Dashboard as required.

If you have more than one active trust account in Property Tree, you can filter the dashboard by choosing a Trust

Choose Portfolio to customise the data on the dashboard based on one or more portfolios. 

Choose Tags to customise further. 

Business Roles can be customised to any Business Role set within Property Tree.

Display Arrears As can be changed to show as Effective or Period.

NOTE: Leaving the filters blank will give you results for the whole company.

NOTE: The filters chosen will remain next time you come into the new Dashboard. You will be able to see the set filters at the top of the screen

The widget, Active Properties, shows you the total number of Residential and Commercial Active Properties, the split between each Portfolio by number and percentage.

Clicking on View Report will take you to relevant report, with filters already added in line with the filters chosen on the Dashboard.


The widget Arrears shows the total amount in arrears, for Residential and Commercial tenancies, and the split between Portfolio by number and total amount in arrears.

Clicking on View Report will take you to the relevant arrears report.

NOTE: Once in the arrears report the Property Type will default to Residential. To view Commercial arrears, change the Property Type to Commercial and click Search.


Vacant Properties – total number of properties with no active tenancies for Residential and Commercial properties. Split between portfolio by number and total amount of properties with no active tenancy.

By clicking on View Report you will move through to the relevant Vacancy report.

NOTE: Any filters set on the Dashboard will affect the results shown in the report

NOTE: Properties with a Prospect Tenant ie the lease and rent information is still to be finalised, will still show as a vacant property.


Inspections Overdue – the total number of Residential and Commercial properties where an inspection was due to take place in the past. Split by Portfolio and then percentage and the number of overdue inspections for each portfolio.

By clicking on View Report you will move through to the relevant Inspection report.

NOTE: The inspection report will default to Status All. This will show all inspections regardless of Status. To view only Tentative, Proposed or Confirmed inspections that were due in the past, change the Status accordingly and click Search.


Maintenance Job In Progress - this will show the total number of maintenance jobs entered in Property Tree, across Sales, Residential and Commercial. Split by Portfolio and then by percentage and the number of jobs in progress for each portfolio.

By clicking on View Report you will move through to the relevant maintenance report.


Rent Reviews Overdue - this widget will show any rent review date in the tenancy profile that occurs in the past.  Split by Portfolio and then by percentage and the number of overdue rent reviews for each portfolio.

By clicking on View Report you will move through to the relevant rent review report.

NOTE: this widget only shows tenancies where there is a Rent Review date entered. To see tenancies where there is no Rent Review date entered into the tenancy profile, once you are in the report, you will need to change the report filter Rent Review Dates to be No Next Rent Review


Inspections Closed - shows the total number of inspections that are set to closed in the current month. Split by Portfolio and then by percentage and the number of closed inspections for each portfolio.

By clicking on View Report you will move through to the relevant Inspections report.


Managements - shows the number of Managements Gained and Lost per portfolio for the current month.

Clicking on View Report will take you to the relevant managements report.


Expired Leases - shows the total number of tenancies, not in vacated status, where the Lease End Date has occurred prior to the end of the current month. Split by Portfolio and then by percentage and the number of expired leases for each portfolio.
