Overview
Property Tree's Recurring Invoice feature allows you to create recurring invoices for both residential and commercial. Once set up the invoice will continue to generate as per the schedule created.
Create Recurring Tenancy Invoice
To create a recurring tenancy invoice, go to:
- Accounting > Invoicing > Create Recurring Tenancy Invoice
- Search and select the tenancy
Next, enter the recurring invoice details:
- Start Date
- Frequency - Select Weeks or Months
- You can then choose different options for the Duration by selecting either:
- No End Date - Select this if the invoice is to occur until the end of the tenancy
- Ends After - Select the amount of invoices you would like created using the recurring schedule
- Ends On - Select the ate that the recurring invoice schedule should cease
- Tenancy Invoice Due Date - This date will default as per your configuration. It can be changed if required
- Enter the Description, Account and Amount
- Click the checkbox to Add Date Range to Invoice Description if required. This automatically adds the invoice date range to the invoice description
- Add Attachments as necessary. This will only be attached to the first recurring invoice
- Add/Delete Fees as applicable
- Click the checkbox to Email Tenancy Invoice if required
- Click Save
The recurring invoice has now been created.
You can find the invoice by going to Trust & Reports > Transactions > Recurring Invoice Summary.
Note: Recurring tenancy invoices will automatically send out at 1.00 am local time, providing the tenancy is set configured to 'auto email invoices' within the tenancy contact setup.
